Cheryl Cole goes ghosthunting

Cheryl Cole and her Girls Aloud buddies put off their partying on hold for a bit of ghost hunting.  The group braved a 17th century mansion and morgue to hunt for spooks in an episode of LivingTV's Most Haunted.

They were freaked by the night in a 400-year-old mansion in Pontblyddin in North Wales.  Cheryl, wife of England footie ace Ashley Cole, said: “It was terrible. I yelled and burst into tears when something touched my arm.”

Cheryl is convinced a ghost touched her and said: "I felt pure fear and screamed."  Nicola Roberts even fled the set as she, Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh filmed.

The girls were more alarmed when a glass was moved during a seance.  Nicola Roberts said: "You could hear knocks. I was spooked."  They and pals Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh were unnerved for days.

But not all the girls wanted to appear on the show - Nadine Coyle missed the trip because she was "too scared."  We think they'll be sticking to clubbing rather than ghostbusting in the future.
