To Dane Cook, ghosts are serious

Dane CookComedian DANE COOK has abandoned another appeal against the court-ordered eviction of his Los Angeles apartment - despite insisting that the allegedly haunted home helps his work. Dane Cook has given up his fight to live in an apartment that he believes has a supernatural force. Cook, who stars in the current movie My Best Friend's Girl, was evicted from a West Hollywood apartment last August after a jury decided the actor/comedian habitually violated the rules requiring him to scoop his dog's poop, according to TMZ.com. Cook argued the judge should block the eviction because the building has paranormal qualities: John Belushi and Steve Martin both lived there, and the Razzie Award nominee believed if he moved out his creative juices would stop flowing and writer's block would ruin his career. Now Cook has abandoned the appeal. Guess his $7 million home in the Hollywood Hills will have to suffice.  Source
