Photographs remain as some of the best evidence to of the UFO phenomena.  Throughout history, humans have seen strange objects in the sky and tell stories of metallic/glowing objects.  It is only in recent history that we have the capability of capturing photos of the objects.  Many of these photographs show distinct characteristics that human-made aircraft usually have.  Most of the following photos displayed are much older, and for good reason since they have no way of being hoaxed (technology to manipulate photos were not available).

1. Los Angeles, February 25, 1942, 02:25 PM

Air Raid Wardens were expecting a possible invasion by the Japanese and were ready defend at any moment. But, this invasion would be something other than Japanese planes. The giant hovering object was soon lit up by the gigantic spotlights of the Army's 37th Coast Artillery Brigade. Everyone who looked up was shocked by the sight of the giant UFO sitting above their city. As U.S. Aircraft were sent to take down the objects, AA guns blasted the targets as spotlights all fixed on to the position.  The outline of the object can be seen as a saucer shaped craft which was reported to be unharmed by the AAA fire although it was taking direct hits.  A blackout is declared (everyone turns off lights to not give their position).  Multiple objects moved at high speed in formation with red/silver coloring.  The object in the photo was taken as it moved directly over the MGM studios in Culver City, then moved over Long Beach before disappearing.  To view the video, Click Here

2. Phoenix, Arizona - March 13, 1997

Also witnessed in 5 other cities, thousands of people report seeing these lights, which started off with 6 and grew to 8 with a 9th separate but still in formation.  The object was over a mile with blue, white, yellow, and amber lights.  The object blocked out stars and some people even reported being close enough to see actual beings in the craft.  Some reports of U.S. fighter jets going after and chasing these objects with afterburners on.  The air force claims that it was nothing else but "flares".

3. Washington D. C. 1952.

Seemingly the unknown objects were defying the very governmental agencies sworn to protect the United States from foreign powers. Washington National Airport and Andrews Air Force Base picked up a number of UFOs on their radar screens on July 19, 1952, beginning a wave of sightings still unexplained to this day

4. 1972, Apollo 16

5. Connecticut, 1987

Randy Etting was taking a walk outside his home. A commercial airline pilot with over 30 years experience. He saw a number of orange and red lights approaching from the west the same night. The lights were shimmering like distortion from engine heat, but he could hear no sound. Etting stated: "As the UFO passed over I-84, cars in both the east and west bound lanes began pulling over and stopping. The UFO displayed a semi-circular pattern of very bright multicolored lights. Five motorists reported that, as the object became visible, a number of cars lost power and had to pull off the highway."
